Choosing cleanser and sunscreen

For cleansers: match to your skin type. Oily skin does well with gel or foam cleansers. Dry skin needs cream or oil cleansers. If you wear makeup or sunscreen daily, consider double cleansing (oil first, then water-based).

The right cleanser leaves skin feeling clean but not tight. If your face feels squeaky, the cleanser is too harsh. Look for pH around 5.5, which matches skin's natural balance.

For sunscreen: mineral (zinc oxide, titanium dioxide) vs chemical. Mineral sits on top of skin and is better for sensitive types. Chemical absorbs UV and tends to be more elegant cosmetically. Both work if you use enough.

Apply enough sunscreen. You need about a shot glass worth for face and neck. Most people use half what they need. Reapply every 2 hours in sun, or after swimming/sweating.
