• Tea tree for breakouts
  • Non-comedogenic tallow
  • Calms oily, angry skin
  • Balances oil production

What it is

A clarifying tallow balm from Pure Good, a small family ranch brand making skincare from grass-fed cattle. It is built for breakout-prone skin with tea tree and clarifying botanicals.

What it does

Tallow is non-comedogenic and so close to your skin's own lipids that it helps regulate oil instead of clogging pores. Tea tree targets the bacteria behind breakouts while bergamot and geranium calm inflammation and keep skin clear.

Who it's for

Oily, acne-prone skin that needs moisture without breakouts. Yes, oil on oily skin, on purpose.

How to use

How much: A pea-sized amount.

1. Warm a small amount between your palms.
2. Press into clean skin on face, hands, or body.
3. Use morning and night.

Where it fits: As your moisturizer step, morning and night.

Why we stock it

We stock this because putting tallow on breakout-prone skin sounds wrong until you try it. When the barrier is balanced, skin stops overproducing oil.

About the brand

Pure Good LLC

Tallow skincare from an Oklahoma ranch

Pure Good started as a homeschool project: the Henderson kids, on their family's sixth-generation cattle ranch in Oklahoma, chose tallow for their lesson, and it became a brand. Their tallow-first skincare starts with 100% grass-fed suet fat from their own cattle, with no synthetic fragrances or fillers, made in the USA. Every ingredient is screened against known hormone disruptors, and the rule is simple: if they wouldn't put it on their own kids, it doesn't go in.

We stock Pure Good because their tallow balms are some of the simplest moisturizers we've seen (as few as two ingredients), and the whole family still packs the orders.

Skincare questions, answered

Where does this go in my routine?

Thinnest to thickest: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, then SPF in the morning. This product's How to use section above tells you its exact step.

When will I see results?

Give it 4 to 6 weeks of consistent use — that's one full skin cycle. Hydration shows up in days; tone and texture take weeks. If your skin reacts badly (stinging, new breakouts that don't settle within a week), stop using it.

I have sensitive skin. Will this irritate me?

Patch test first: a dab behind your ear or along your jawline, wait 24 hours. Fragrance-free formulas are the safest bet for reactive skin — check the highlights on this page.
