• Five organic citrus oils
  • Tallow matches skin lipids
  • Brightens dull skin
  • Face, hands, and body

What it is

A citrus-scented tallow balm from Pure Good, a small family ranch brand making skincare from grass-fed cattle. It blends five organic citrus oils into a grass-fed tallow and olive oil base.

What it does

Tallow is one of the closest natural matches to your skin's own lipids, so it does not just add moisture, it helps your barrier hold onto it. The citrus blend brings vitamin C and antioxidants that brighten dull skin and even out tone.

Who it's for

Anyone with dull or tired-looking skin who wants a bright, fresh scent. Use it anywhere: face, hands, body.

How to use

How much: A small scoop, warmed between palms.

1. Warm a small amount between your palms.
2. Press into clean skin wherever you need moisture.
3. A little goes a long way; use morning and night.

Where it fits: As your moisturizer, or the final step to lock in your routine.

Why we stock it

We stock this because citrus and tallow should not work this well together, but they do. Bright scent, serious moisture, one jar for everything.

About the brand

Pure Good LLC

Tallow skincare from an Oklahoma ranch

Pure Good started as a homeschool project: the Henderson kids, on their family's sixth-generation cattle ranch in Oklahoma, chose tallow for their lesson, and it became a brand. Their tallow-first skincare starts with 100% grass-fed suet fat from their own cattle, with no synthetic fragrances or fillers, made in the USA. Every ingredient is screened against known hormone disruptors, and the rule is simple: if they wouldn't put it on their own kids, it doesn't go in.

We stock Pure Good because their tallow balms are some of the simplest moisturizers we've seen (as few as two ingredients), and the whole family still packs the orders.

Skincare questions, answered

Where does this go in my routine?

Thinnest to thickest: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, then SPF in the morning. This product's How to use section above tells you its exact step.

When will I see results?

Give it 4 to 6 weeks of consistent use — that's one full skin cycle. Hydration shows up in days; tone and texture take weeks. If your skin reacts badly (stinging, new breakouts that don't settle within a week), stop using it.

I have sensitive skin. Will this irritate me?

Patch test first: a dab behind your ear or along your jawline, wait 24 hours. Fragrance-free formulas are the safest bet for reactive skin — check the highlights on this page.
